So, as many of you dishers know the music of Scott Alan from Miss Shoshana Bean's version of "Home" or Eden's "I'm A Star" or Natalie Weiss singing anything on Youtube. WELL, He is releasing a NEW CD called Keys: The Music of Scott Alan.
Ok, so Scott has been one of my favorite new musical theatre composers since I found out who Sutton Foster was. He is really creating new/classic musical theatre songs for a generation that doesn't just want to "become a Man" or are just "Totally Fucked." He is writing for the 20 somethings, you know the ones who have been through real life experience/love/woe/heartache . . . AKA "THE MILL"
Well, I just listened to the sound clips from Keys and if you like Musical Theatre/ Riffing/Sutton/Belting/Mix-Belting/Getting it Done/Pure Mixers/Songs you can remember/ Songs that move you/Songs that are sung by the BEST SINGERS IN THE BUSINESS, then you should probs buy this CD.
